Colonel Clover
Irish Sport Horse Stallion currently show jumping with the Army Equitation School
Newline Stud is a small stud farm based in Co. Laois. Our philosophy is to produce top class show jumpers and competition horses . We have four stallions and eight broodmares all of which have top class bloodlines. Along with them we have Connemara ponies, Irish Draught horses and young stock for schooling. There is never a dull moment with over thirty horses to attend to and eight foals on the way. Our stud is based in two locations with less than ten kilometers apart.
Over the years we have produced Grade A and Grade B show jumpers. Wooden Teb by Ballinvella out of Clover Lough (NLS Broodmare) won a Grand Prix in Millstreet, Cork with show jumper Damien Doyle. He also won out his class in Dublin two years running. Wooden Ard Hill by Ardchroney Lad (By Ballinvella) out of Clover Lough is a Grade B show jumper . This year we two show jumpers competing with the army equitation centre and Clem Mc Mahon, NLS Coole Al Clover and Colonel Clover .
Also, for 2009 we have a new Connemara Stallion at stud Knockferry Knight. He was awarded a Grade 1 at the Stallion Inspection in Galway on the 6th of April. Fresh Semen will be available for 2009.
